So Windy in Bangui

Windmills 😍

Bangui Wind Farm is a wind farm in Bangui, Ilocos NortePhilippines. The wind farm uses 20 units of 70-metre (230 ft) high Vestas V82 1.65 MW wind turbines, arranged on a single row stretching along a nine-kilometer shoreline off Bangui Bay, facing the West Philippine Sea.
Phase I of the NorthWind power project in Bangui Bay consists of 15 wind turbines, each capable of producing electricity up to a maximum capacity of 1.65 MW, for a total of 24.75 MW. The 15 on-shore turbines are spaced 326 metres (1,070 ft) apart, each 70 metres (230 ft) high, with 41 metres (135 ft) long blades, with a rotor diameter of 82 metres (269 ft) and a wind swept area of 5,281 square metres (56,840 sq ft).
Phase II, was completed on August 2008, and added 5 more wind turbines with the same capacity, and brought the total capacity to 33 MW. All 20 turbines describes a graceful arc reflecting the shoreline of Bangui Bay, facing the West Philippine Sea.

Blue is LoVe

Blue is love.
I love the color blue from the very start.
When I see this color:
1. It makes me happy when I'm sad,
2. It calms me when I'm angry, and
3. Gives me the inspiration to do my tasks well.

Sorry if I did not post in this blog for months but now I'm here!

October: Holy Rosary Month

Holy Rosary
This Month of October we are celebrating the Month of the Holy Rosary.

History:
There are differing views on the history of the Rosary. The exact origin of the Rosary as a prayer is less than clear and subject to debate among scholars.
Prayer beads may have their origins in the Eastern religions in India in the 3rd century BC. The use of knotted prayer ropes in Christianity goes back to the Desert Fathers in the 3rd and early 4th centuries. These counting devices were used for prayers such as the Jesus prayer in Christian monasticism. The period after the First Council of Ephesus in 431 witnessed a gradual growth in the use of Marian prayers during the Middle Ages.

Flamingorific!

Flamingos

Trivia about Flamingos

Flamingos are famous for their bright pink feathers, stilt-like legs, webbed feet and S-shaped neck. You’ll find flamingos throughout the world’s warmer regions, near shallow lakes and lagoons. Once airborne, flamingos fly in large flocks with their long neck and legs outstretched. When a flamingo spots potential dinner like shrimp, snails, and algae—it plunges its head into the water, twists it upside down, and scoops the fish using its upper beak like a shovel. Flamingos build nests that look like mounds of mud where the female lays one egg. The parents take turns sitting on the egg to keep it warm. After about 30 days, the egg hatches. Flamingo young are born white, with soft, downy feathers and a straight bill. The parents identify their chick by its voice. After about three weeks, the adults herd young flamingos into large groups called crèches. The young find safety in the crèches and start to look for food on their own.

Sunrise Fantastic!

Sunrise

Sunrise or sun up is the instant at which the upper edge of the Sun appears over the eastern horizon in the morning.[1] The term can also refer to the entire process of the Sun crossing the horizon and its accompanying atmospheric effects.

Time: Most Precious Gift!

Time

“Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can't make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you'll never get back. Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.
It is not enough to just say relationships are important; we must prove it by investing time in them. Words alone are worthless. "My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action." Relationships take time and effort, and the best way to spell love is "T-I-M-E.”
